Solar park for sustainable energy

Zijderlaan Group is committed to sustainability. In 2019, we invested in 5,100 solar panels spread over two locations in Waspik, NL. These solar fields generate 1.4 megawatts of energy each year, allowing our entire company to operate self-sufficiently. This means that all our production, including most internal means of transport, is powered by solar energy. Sometimes we produce more energy than we use: in this case, neighbouring businesses benefit from the excess.

CO₂-neutral with fossil-free fuel

Sustainability is of paramount importance to us and we express it not just in words but also in actions. We have converted all our non-electrified means of transport to HVO100 fossil-free fuel. This transition directly results in a CO₂ reduction of 80-90%.
