Bulk Handling

Zijderlaan Bulk Handling is strategically located on the Bergse Maas and offers a storage capacity of over 75,000 tons for various materials. With fully automated racking and space for 7,500 pallet locations, we can meet specific needs. Our wide range of services, experience in external projects, and commitment to quality make us your partner for bulk handling.

Retail Services

Zijderlaan Retail Services specializes in packaging single raw materials for pet products. With a wide range of cat litter, organic raw materials, and other products, we offer customized solutions. Our focus on quality, sustainability, and security of supply makes us a reliable partner for your product range.

Bulk Trading

Zijderlaan Bulk Trading specializes in high-quality biomass products, focusing on wood pellets as an important biofuel. We supply various large-scale consumers and also offer packaged options for smaller quantities. Additionally, we are experienced in trading related energy products. For us, cooperation and trust are paramount, and our brand Agriselect is an established name in the market.

History

1992
Brothers Johan and Ad Zijderlaan purchase a waterfront property in Waspik for the purpose of storing and transshipping animal feed raw materials for third parties.
1999
The first introduction to biomass; affordable agricultural raw materials are transshipped, destined for the Amer power plant in Geertruidenberg.
2001
Initial introduction to the new wood pellet product, which is also intended for power plants.
2004
Biomass handling operations continue; a deep-water rental property is being established in the Vlissingen port area to supply the Borssele power plant.
2006
Establishment of Zijderlaan Handel Maatschappij, which now operates under the name Zijderlaan Bulk Trading.
2007
First purchase of a sea vessel with wood pellets.
2009
Two packaging lines are being installed to pack 15kg wood pellets for our own Agriselect brand.
2012
This year, two additional packaging lines will once again be installed at an external location.
2013
Acquisition of production site Dwarsweg in Waspik.
2014
Zijderlaan Retail Services is established, followed by the installation of the first packaging line for cat litter.
2018
A new 9,800 m2 warehouse has been commissioned, along with the arrival of the first bulk shipment of cat litter via seagoing vessel.
2022
The 10th packaging line has been commissioned for filling plastic bags, paper bags, and cardboard boxes.
